在遥远的古代，一个名叫小红帽的小女孩住在一个安静的小村庄里。她的父母是一位木匠和一位织布娘，他们都很爱她。小红帽非常聪明、勤奋，并且总是穿着一件鲜艳的红色围裙，所以人们就给她起了这个名字。
小红帽与母亲告别
有一天，小红帽被派去给她最好的朋友——七个跳舞的小鸽子送去一些面包。她把面包放在篮子里，然后骑上马车向森林深处走去。在森林里，她遇到了一个可恶的狼，它用它那凶狠的声音对小红帽说：“你好！我已经饿了好几天，今天我要吃掉你。”
小红帽逃离狼追捕
当时，小红帽十分害怕，但她并没有放弃。由于她的智慧，她想出了一个计谋。她告诉狼：“如果你能猜出我的三个弟弟各自穿的是什么颜色的衣服，你可以吃他们。” wolf agreed, and little red riding hood asked him what he thought the first brother was wearing. wolf replied that he thought the first brother was wearing a blue shirt. Then she asked him what he thought the second brother was wearing, and wolf said green. Finally, she asked him about the third brother, and wolf said yellow.
狼误入羊群，被猎人杀死
wolf then went to look for the three brothers in their house. When he arrived, all three were dressed in red shirts! Wolf ate them up in one bite. But soon after, a hunter came to visit his wife who lived with her three sons in this house. The wife had prepared dinner for herself and her husband but forgot to tell him that there were wolves inside!
The hunter noticed something strange when he saw only two chairs at the table instead of four: "Where are my wife and your sons?" The wife nervously replied: "Oh, they're just out of sight." But then she realized that her husband must have seen something terrible because his face turned white as snow! So she decided to reveal everything:
"Ah," I say with a sigh,
My dear friend,
I'll tell you a story
That will make you shiver.
In this village where we live,
There's a girl named Little Red Riding Hood.
She wears a red cloak,
And walks through these woods alone.
As she walked through those woods so tall
And deep into darkness fell
A big bad wolf did hear her call
And started following closely well
He crept behind trees so still
With cunning eyes on watchful hill
His voice like thunder shook the ground
As loud as any storm around
Little Red Riding Hood heard it sound
But kept on walking without any bound
