Mother, mother, my song is for you. I know that the stories in these old plays are just like our own life's journey - full of twists and turns, happiness and sorrow. Just as the singers on stage use their voices to convey their emotions, I hope my voice can reach your heart and bring you some comfort.
In those moments when tears stream down your face while watching a yellow-bone opera or a melodrama on TV, I want you to know that it's not just the actors' performances that move us but also the deep understanding they show towards human nature. It's as if they speak directly to our souls.
I may not be able to change anything with my simple melody but at least let this small gift be a token of love from me to you. And who knows?
