Chang'e: The Moon Goddess
Chang'e is one of China's most beloved deities - she is revered as both goddess of the moon and protector of women's virtues in marriage life. Her story begins with her accidental consumption of elixir meant for her husband while he was away hunting; instantly transformed into an immortal being, she ascended to heaven where she resides alone under lunar protection.
Sun Wukong: The Monkey King
Sun Wukong or more commonly known as Monkey King is another prominent figure in Chinese mythology famous for his incredible strength, agility & magical powers given him by Ruyi Jingu Bang (the staff capable of bending reality) gifted by Bodhisattva Guanyin herself when Sun Wukong saved five children from drowning during a storm at sea.
He gained fame through his adventures including stealing peaches from Mount Kunlun which were guarded fiercely by heavenly beings resulting in him getting caught up against Jade Emperor after committing various mischievous acts causing chaos within heavens leading eventually into forming alliances with other celestial creatures like Zhu Bajie (Pigsy) & Sha Monk before embarking on epic journey westward together referred collectively as Journey To West alongside Tang Sanzang (Taoist priest).
5.Kuan Kung: God Of War And Justice
Kuan Kung or Zhuge Liang also known as "Wu Zetian" among many other names holds significant importance within ancient Chinese culture due to his immense contributions towards unifying China under Three Kingdoms period rule – primarily serving Liu Bei’s Shu Han kingdom before dying mysteriously while fighting off invading enemy forces trying desperately defend capital city Changan against rival state Cao Wei led army attack led personally General Sima Yi hence gaining posthumous title 'God Of War' & 'Minister Of State'.
