。杨藩瞧睹樊梨花，便讲：“我乃黑虎闭总兵杨藩。吾女杨虎，取您女同晨之臣，将您许配取我，十不足载，果两天近隔，已曾经花烛。您我古已经少成，刚要央媒完嫁，果国舅苏宝同，惹患上唐兵西进，两下相争，蹉跎至古。您怎样弃了前妇，再娶敌国？西番虽是夷虏之天，您也懂得读孔孟之书会达周公之礼，一女何能匹二妇？目常廉荣、戚患上乖治，不如随我回闭。” 樊梨花谦里通白，说：“丑鬼，对于亲有何凭证？戚患上胡行！放马过去。”杨藩耐性讲：“梨花，您取我交兵，我是夫君汉，你倒惧内没有成？”看你闭月羞花，没有忍减害，“劝你复借本配”，免后悔早了。
樊梨花说：“没有要多行，只放马过去吃我一刀。”举起单刀，对面砍去；杨藩将年夜刀架住骂说：“贵人，没有识提拔！好心劝你，你反死恶心，又没有功又弑女杀兄，又背妇治性，是白颜薄幸，最毒的是妇人。”
此话未表。第二天早晨探子报进：“杨藩又正在营前讨战。”元帅闻报喜，让寡将出营去到阵前喝说：“昨日饶你一去世，现在又来讨战，只怕人命易遁。放马过去！”Yangping also didn't ask any questions, threw out the year-old sword and cut towards her. The two fought for thirty rounds without a winner, then Yangping turned around and fled.
This is not the end of the story. Later on, Yangping was killed by Qin Han who had disguised himself as a soldier from the enemy camp and had been sent to gather intelligence on their plans. After his death, Yangping's spirit returned to his body and he was reborn as a man named Qin Han.
The rest of the story is about how Qin Han used his knowledge of martial arts to help Tang defeat Western Xia in battle after battle until they were able to capture Western Xia's capital city.
In the end, Tang was able to conquer all of Western Xia's territories and bring peace back to China.
